Thank you for
your interest in volunteering with KPGT!
We are an
entirely volunteer organization and we
often have many great ideas and not
enough people to make them a reality.
Here are some of the ways you can help
make our great ideas happen:
Super
Saturday:
March 8th is coming quickly. We need
your help both before and on the day of
the big event. We have tasks suited to
every person. Please take a look at this
list
and contact
Janet Thomason
from our Board page if you can help
(with "SS volunteer help" in the subject
field).
Campus
Family Fun Nights:
Our campus liaisons would appreciate
your help in scheduling and organizing
family nights. We have had very
successful events and they often do not
take much time, just initiative. GT
family gatherings can happen at area
fun-spots like bowling alleys, pottery
and other crafting places or movie
theaters. Smaller schools can partner
with larger schools for better turnout.

Junior
High and High School Events:
we want
to serve the junior high and high school
students better. We would like to
sponsor an event similar to Super
Saturday or some other special event.
This is new territory for us, so there
is no right or wrong. We just need the
right person to lead it. Please email

Newsletter Distribution:
When our printed newsletters are
finished we are always anxious to get
them to the Challenge teachers for
distribution. Sometimes we need help
driving the newsletters to the schools.

Taping and Video Editing Help:
Do you have audio/visual technical
skills or equipment? We are trying to
record more of our events so our
community can benefit from them at a
later time. We need help editing the
video we have and taping/editing for

School Board Candidate Forum:
If
politics and elections are an interest
of yours, we could use your help
organizing our annual candidate forum.

Teacher Appreciation and KPGT General
Membership Meeting:
We would
like to do more to appreciate our
teachers and recognize outstanding
