KPGT annual
School Board Candidate Forum – Thursday,
April 24, 2008 7:00 PM, Cinco Ranch High
School Cafeteria. Be an informed
voter. Come to ask your questions and
hear the answers from candidates for the
3 open Katy ISD Board of Trustee
positions. The first three questions
will be prepared by the KPGT Board about
GT education. The rest of the questions
are submitted by the audience. Please
bring your friends and neighbors. Every
informed vote is crucial in local
elections.

Annual Meeting – May 6th 7 PM – Cinco
Ranch High School - 9th grade
cafeteria – “Kids First, Gifted
Second: Striking a Balance” by Rene’
DelaFuente. About the presentation: “Gifted
students have mastered the art of
stressing: grades, growing up, emotions,
social issues, and perfectionism
characteristics. Learn how to identify
symptoms of stress that often plague
gifted youth and how to alleviate these
stressors with some tried and true
strategies.” We
will also elect our new KPGT officers
for 2008-2009, introduce campus liaisons
and provide a handout about KPGT
accomplishments and goals.
