KPGT is seeking parents of identified GT students who
want to assume an active role in gifted education and issues. We need at
least two parents from each KISD campus to serve as liaisons between
KPGT and their campuses. While serving as a campus liaison, the
opportunities for learning about giftedness and gifted education are
immense.
One liaison from each campus will be invited to become a member of the
KISD GT Parent Advisory Council. The Gifted and Talented Parent Advisory
Council will serve as a conduit to share information and solicit
feedback related to the Gifted and Talented Program in KISD. GT
Facilitators at each campus will present an invitation to participate to
one liaison at each campus.
